The International Chess Federation is excited to announce the 4th FIDE World Chess Championship for People with Disabilities, to be held from 4-14 November 2021. This year the championship, organized by Dresdner Schachfestival e.V. under the auspices of FIDE, will be held online due to continuous Covid-19 restrictions across the world.

The fourth edition of the World Chess Championship for People with Disabilities is expected to bring together around 100 players from 50 countries, satisfying their needs for communication, self-esteem and recognition at a hard time of the pandemic.
